On October 16th, we held our third pop-up farmers market of the season in partnership with Taste the Local Difference at Glen Lake Community School. The market was buzzing with local produce and goods ready for the kids to purchase. The food service director and head chef of the school cafeteria Jackie Cobb prepared delicious saskatoon berry bread for the students to taste test. It was definitely a hit!

Kids were very excited to see extra large carrots for sale thanks to 9 Bean Rows and Lakeview Hill Farms, but most of them didn’t make it home! We love our farmers for bringing us the best local produce around to help get our kids excited about veggies.
